How often pricing data is updated

Understanding the cadence at which Pulse captures and updates company pricing pages.

Written by John Kotowski

How monitoring works

Pulse continuously monitors the pricing pages of tracked companies on a recurring automated schedule. When a page changes, Pulse captures the before and after state and generates a diff automatically — no manual checking required.

How changes are organized

Changes are grouped into periods so they're easy to scan. On the Diffs page you can view changes by week or by quarter, and each company profile lists its Most Recent Diffs and Historical Diffs. A new diff is available in the app as soon as it's processed.

Getting notified

  • Real-time alerts (Pro) — add companies to a Watchlist to be emailed as soon as a change is processed.

  • Scheduled digests (Pro) — receive a weekly or monthly roundup of changes for your watchlisted companies.

  • The Pricing Pulse — a hand-curated weekly email of notable changes across the market, sent to all users (manage it under Settings → Notifications).

Historical data

Pulse maintains an archive of pricing pages going back 2+ years (Pro), so you can see how a company's pricing has evolved over time — not just the most recent change.

Don't see a recent change?

If a pricing page in Pulse looks out of date, let us know via the chat icon at the bottom-right of the app, or request the company through Settings → Company Requests, and we'll prioritize a fresh capture. See Supported companies and coverage.
